Students of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala on Tuesday took out a rally and enlightened the people on the need to ‘conserve water'.

The BA group students of the college took out a procession in Brundavan Colony and met the residents in apartments. They explained the scarcity of water and the necessity to take up water conservation methods.

The girls carrying placards raised slogans on the need to save water and distributed stickers and pamphlets at the public water tops in the city.

College principal T. Vijayalakshmi, Economics Department HOD G. Pramila Kumari and others participated in the programme.
