AMG High School, Chilakaluripet has won the championship at the district level Under-14 and Under-16 athletics sports meet held at Brahmananda Reddy Stadium here on Wednesday. The meet was held by Athletics Association of Guntur District.
In the U-14 category, B. Pavan Kumar won the first place in 600 metres , M. Bhanu Naik won the first place in 100 metres, shot put, G. Rama Devi and J. Krishna Kant won the second place in shot put.
In the U-16 category, B. Lavanya won the first place in 100 metres, M. Sai Sireesha won the first place in 200 metres, J. Jessica won the first place in shot put and Javelin Throw.
Former professor of Hindu College LSN Prasad gave away the prizes. Association joint secretary G. Seshaiah was also present.
