Noted entrepreneur and Radha Madhav Toyota Chief Executive Officer M.V. Srinivas has appealed to industrialists and public representatives to come forward to develop Seemandhra.
Educationists, industrialists and elite sections of society should join hands for the re-construction of the region, he said. Besides, political leaders should instil confidence among students on better opportunities for them in the residuary State.
“Traders, intellectuals, realtors, hoteliers, film artistes, NRIs and political leaders played a key in development of Hyderabad. Now, we should think of the development Seemandhra State. Exporters, industrialists and educationists should stop investing in other places and set up firms, IIT, IIM, ISB and other institutes in the new State,” Mr. Srinivas, who visited Guntur recently, told The Hindu .
The CEO, who runs showrooms in Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Rajahmundry, said this was the time to elect good leaders for the development of Rayalaseema and coastal areas.
“Young voters will play a vital role in the ongoing municipal and general elections. The number of first-time voters is high in almost all districts. Students should elect leaders who are sincere and committed,” said Mr. Srinivas.
Public representatives should focus on the development of villages district-wise by tapping natural resources and temple tourism. The leaders should organise meetings with the cream of society and set up industries, institutions, resorts and studios for shooting films, which will enhance job opportunities for youth, said the industrialist.
He appealed to the youth to utilise their right to vote and elect the right candidate for the all-round development of residuary Andhra Pradesh.
