Strive for rooting out corruption: Collector

District Collector M. Raghunandana Rao exhorted the government employees to strive for eliminating corruption, on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day on Monday. He said December 9 was designated as the International Anti-Corruption Day to spread awareness about corruption and the role of the United Nations Convention against Corruption in curbing this global menace. Joint Collector Usha Kumari administered the anti-corruption pledge to employees at the Collector office. Additional Joint Collector B.L. Chennakesava Rao, DRO L. Vijay Chander and others participated.

At Vijayawada, Sub-Collector D. Harichandana exhorted the employees to strive for eliminating corruption. She asserted that development is possible only when corruption was checked. Sub-Collector’s office administrative officer A.. Surya Rao and others were present.
