STAI gold medal for sugar unit

The KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited (KSICL) has bagged gold medal from Sugar Technologists’ Association of India (STAI) for its research in innovation in energy efficiency and conservation in sugar industry.

KSICL is one of the 706 sugar mills to be selected for the coveted award.

Company’s chief operating officer G. Venkateswara Rao received the award from Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Nayak in the STAI’s 74th Annual Convention held at Goa. On the occasion, Mr. Rao said the company made substantial pecuniary gains by conserving steam, power and water at its plants, and thanked his officers and employees for winning the distinction.
