Stage artiste, TV and film comedian as well as director Sanagala Kabirdas died of heart attack on Sunday, the Vijayawada Kalakarula Samaikya Vedika said in a statement on Monday.
Kabirdas was born in Thotlavalluru village in Krishna district, and studied in A.K.T.P. School in Satyanarayanapuram. Later, he studied in Polytechnic, and worked in various capacities in the erstwhile APSEB before retiring as assistant engineer. He acted with famous actors like Sutti Veerabhadra Rao and Jandhyala, and performed in more than 200 dramas in Akashavani. He donned roles in films like ‘Tirupati', ‘Jagame Maya', ‘Ardhangi', ‘Gadusu Ammayi', ‘Ramadandu' and ‘Pellam Chebite Vinali'.
