Cake and chocolate lovers in the city had a gala time at Planet Fun, and were bowled over by the variety of cakes displayed at the Cake Show. The organisers claimed they had 999 varieties on offer. Most striking was the mannequin and chocolate flakes dress that presented the stunning detailing and perfection with which it was made

Planet Fun arranged the show in association with KEKS bakery. Executive director Srinivas Ravula, Rakesh, Srinivas Somisetty and H. Hemanth said that they had been customising cakes according to the buyer’s choice. They also introduced several new flavours like berry nut, mocha, caramel, tiramisu, and chocolate chip.

Chef of KEKS Rajendra Prasad who has six years of international experience in baking said that this kind of cake preparation was exclusive to Vijayawada at Planet Fun.

Digital menu

While 60 cakes were on display, they had put on digital display entire menu of 999 cakes and those walking in could choose from the display and order to enjoy all possible flavours.

They can even dial for a cake so that it could be delivered at their preferred destination, said Mr. Srinivas.
