Special trains for festival season

To clear extra rush of passengers during Dasara season, the South Central Railways will operate the following special trains between Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad-Santragachi.

Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad weekly special train (4 services): Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special Train No.07148 will depart Hyderabad on October 1 and 8 at 7.30 p.m., arrive/depart Secunderabad at 7.50/8.00 p.m., Vijayawada at 02.00 a.m./02.20 a.m. on the next day and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 8.30 a.m.

In the return direction, Vishakapatnam-Hyderabad special train (Train No.07147) will depart Visakhapatnam on October 2 and 9 at 7.05 p.m., arrive/depart Vijayawada at 02.00 a.m./02.20 a.m., Secunderabad at 08.15 a.m./08.25 a.m. and arrive at Hyderabad at 08.50 a.m. on the next day. Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalle and Duvvada in both the directions. Hyderabad- Santragachi - Hyderabad weekly special train (4 Services): Hyderabad-Santragachi special Train No.07128 will depart Hyderabad on October 3 and 10 at 9.50 p.m., arrive/depart Secunderabad at 10.10 p.m./10.15 p.m., Vijayawada at 04.15 a.m./04.30 a.m. on the next day and arrive at Santragachi at 02.50 a.m. on the following day.

In the return direction, Santragachi-Hyderabad special train (Train No.07127) will depart Santragachi on October 5 and 12 at 4.20 p.m., arrive/depart Vijayawada at 12.35 a.m./12.55 a.m., Secunderabad at 7.00 p.m./9.10 p.m. and arrive Hyderabad at 8.45 p.m. on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalle, and Visakhapatnam in both the directions. Passengers can avail the facility and visit enquiry counters at railway stations for further information. Passengers can also avail the advantages of e-ticketing facility to avoid long queues at PRS centres and instead visit the department website www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in for more information.
