Special adalats to clear BPS applications

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation has made clear that the last date for submission of documents by the building owners who had applied under the Building Penalisation Scheme (BPS) is April 30.

The building owners will have to submit the building plan documents, notary affidavit and a copy of the structural stability certificate to the BPS counter set up at the citizen charter office of the VMC before 5 p.m. on April 30. For the convenience of the public, special adalats will be conducted at the circle offices as per the schedule given below.

The assistant city planners concerned have been given the authority to verify the documents on the spot and issue orders instantly. The adalat will be held at the circle-1 office near Cholera shed at Chitti Nagar on April 6 and 7 for the convenience of applicants of Bhavanipuram, Vidyadharapuram, One-Town, Shanthi Nagar, Chitti Nagar, Devi Nagar, New Rajarajeswaripet, Old Rajarajeswaripet, Kundavari Kandriga, Ajit Singh Nagar and Ramakrishnapuram. On April 8 and 9, the adalat will be held at the circle-2 office near AKTPM School, Satyanarayanapuram and the areas to be covered are: Madhuranagar, Ramalingeswarapet, Ayodhya Nagar, Satyanarayanapuram, Gandhi Nagar, Durgapuram, Governorpet, Hanumanpet and Seetannapet. The adalat will be held at circle-3 office, Bobba Venkateswara Rao complex near Patamata eSeva centre on April 12 and 13 for covering the localities of Suryaraopet, Seetarampuram, Moghalrajapuram, Machavaram, Gunadala, Kasturibaipet, Patamata, Labbipet, Krishnalanka, Patamatalanka, Currency Nagar, Gayatri Nagar, Ayyappa Nagar and Ramalingeswara Nagar.
