The Andhra Pradesh Drug Trade Association has urged the State government to make the renewal of licence simpler by accepting the applications and fee online to make the business less stressful. At the State convention of the association here on Sunday, the association members also demanded ensuring a 24-hour power supply for their shops so that they could preserve the medicines in proper conditions and also convert their power charges from the commercial tariff slab to domestic tariff slab, enforcing the citizen's charter properly to reduce harassment, increase number of drug inspectors and allow 60,000 chemists to make payments online.
