The city-based Samana Institute of Fashion Technology (SIFT) is adding yet another feather to its cap by expanding into home furnishing sector.

The SIFT will formally launch home furnishing with its signature style at the institute on Sunday.

“We will completely rely on our own colour schemes, prints, blocks and designs. We have also decided to make the students a part of the profits the institute will earn in various segments,” said Samana Moosavi, CEO of the SIFT.

The institute has been imparting training to groups of students segregated into different segments based on subject specialisations. It has been providing them with every possible opportunity to get exposed to the dazzling world of fashion industry and helping them find the right kind of platform to lay bare their talent.

To start with, SIFT will focus on cushion covers, table rolls and bed sheets.
