Actress Shruti Haasan on Wednesday formally launched a bridal collection in a local showroom in the city. Draped in bright pink and blue sari with brocade work, she stepped out of her car as people gathered outside the showroom welcomed her.
Waving at fans, she headed to the showroom where every corner sparkled with the glitter of bridal apparel. The collection ranged from deep, dark, rich colours, luxurious fabric and heavy embellishments to contemporary lighter patterns with a chic look.
The showroom was chock-a-block with a few buyers and a large number of fans who were eager to catch a glimpse of the actress.
Whispers of how Ms. Haasan has joined the elusive Rs.1 crore club in the Telugu film industry after Gabbar Singh invaded the vicinity even as the svelte actress walked her way through various sections. She went around the counters on all the four floors admiring the inspiring shades of silk.
