It's time for shopaholics to loosen their purse strings and get set to splurge on lifestyle products at The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show 2011, unfolding at the sprawling Loyola College grounds on Thursday.
Nearly 200 stalls will dot the 30,000 sq ft area that will turn a shopper's paradise for the next five days. A blend of utility and opulence, the Lifestyle Show hosted annually by the newspaper organisation has been serving as big bait even for the most astute shopper. People from all walks of life throng the venue to have their pick from the lot. Yamaha is the co-sponsor of the show while other active associates of the event include Gateway Hotel as the hospitality sponsor, Red FM as the radio partner, Hi-tech water as water sponsor and IAds and Events as the event partner. The caravan of the expo-cum-sale that has been going around major cities across the country to provide a one-stop destination for shoppers, during its stopover in the city, will offer something for everybody.
The array of products on display at the event will include consumer electronics, home appliances, furniture and furnishings, modular kitchens and accessories, art and handicrafts, automobiles, beauty and health, luxury home needs and interiors, fashion, textile and jewellery, insurance and banking products, resorts and hotels, electronic safety lockers, real estates, consumer durables, jute products, computer and IT products, bathroom fittings and gift items.
Leading brands that will showcase their products include Elica, Hindware, Faber, Prestige, Artisans, Samsung, Furniture Point, Cache, Space Craft, Abhi Imports, Agri Gold and Grasim.
In the automobile sector, companies like Yamaha Bikes, Ford and Mahindra and Mahindra will ensnare the motor junkies.
An entry fee of Rs. 30 per head will be charged.
