Several trains cancelled, regulated

Flood waters washed away soil from under the railway tracks at Bayyavaram near Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam district disrupting railway traffic on Sunday. Several trains were either cancelled or diverted between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam on Sunday and Monday due to breaches between Narasingapalli and Bayyavaram.

Train no. 11019 Mumbai CST-Bhubaneswar Konark Express to depart Mumbai at 3.10 p.m on Sunday (Oct 27), 18495 Rameswaram–Bhubaneswar Express to leave Rameswaram (on Sunday) at 8 a.m, 12728 Hyderabad–Visakhapatnam Godavari Express scheduled to depart Hyderabad at 5.15 p.m on Sunday, 12740 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Garibrath Express to depart Secunderabad at 8.15 p.m on Sunday and 12704 Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express to depart Secunderbad at 4 p.m on Oct 27 were cancelled. Similarly, train No. 18510 Nanded–Visakhapatnam Express to leave Nanded at 4.15 p.m on Oct 27 and 7487 Tirupati–Visakhapatnam Tirumala Express to leave Tirupati at 8.50 p.m on Oct 27 were cancelled. Train No. 18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express which departed Hyderabad at 10 a.m on Sunday and 12513 Secunderabad–Guwahati Express which departed Secunderabad at 7.30 a.m on Sunday were diverted to run via Kazipet, Balharshah, Nagpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.

Train No. 12739 Visakhapatnam-Secunderbad Garibrath Express to depart Visakhapatnam at 8.30 p.m on Oct 27 is partially cancelled between Visakhapatnam and Tuni Train No. 17488 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Tirumala Express to depart Visakhapatnam at 2 p.m on Oct 27 is partially cancelled between Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry. Train No. 17015 Bhubaneswar- Secunderabad Visakha Express to leave Bhubaneswar at 8.35 a.m on Oct 27 is partially cancelled between Bhubaneswar and Rajahmundry. Train No. 12717 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Ratnachal Express to depart Visakhapatnam at 12.40 p.m on Oct 27 is partially cancelled between Vsiakhapatnam and Rajahmundry.Train No. 12513 Secunderabad-Guwahati Express to leave Secunderabad at 7.30 a.m on Oct 27 is diverted via Kazipet Junction, Balharshah, Nagpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.Train No. 02551 Yesvantpur–Kamakhya Junction Express which left Yesvanthpur on rescheduling at 1 a.m on Oct 27 is diverted via Vijayawada, Waranagal, Balharshah and Nagpur. The South Central and East Coast Railways cancelled some more trains also due to soil erosion under tracks between Ganjam and Balugaon and Bayyavaram and Narasingapalli. The cancelled trains are: 12840 Chennai-Howrah Express to leave Chennai on Oct 28; 12842 Chennai-Howrah Express to leave Chennai on Oct 28; 02863 Shalimar–Yesvantpur Express to leave Shalimar at 1 a.m of Oct 28; 22856 Tirupati–Santragachi Express to depart Tirupati on Oct 28; 07128 Hyderabad–Shalimar Special train to depart Hyderabad at 9.50 p.m on Oct 27, 12840 Chennai-Howrah Express rescheduled to depart Chennai at 2.30 p.m on Oct 27; 12842 Chennai-Howrah Express rescheduled to depart Chennai at 7 p.m on Oct 27; 12659 Nagercoil Junction–Shalimar Express to depart Nagercoil Junction on Oct 27; 22852 Mangalore Central–Santragachi Express rescheduled to depart Mangalore Central at 8 p.m on Oct 27; 12246 Yesvantpur–Howrah Duranto Express rescheduled to leave Yesvanthpur at 3 p.m. on Oct 27; 12835 Hatia–Yesvantpur Express to leave Hatia at 6.25 p.m on Oct 27; 16324 Shalimar–Trivandrum Central Express to leave Shalimar at 10.45 p.m on Oct 27; 17479 Puri-Tirupati Express to leave Puri on Oct 27; 12867 Howrah–Pondicherry Express to leave Howrah at 11.30 p.m on Oct 27; 12841 Howrah–Chennai Coromandel Express to leave Howrah on Oct 27; 18464 Bangalore–Bhubaneswar Prasanthi Express to depart Bangalore on Oct 27; and 22855 Santragachi–Tirupati Express to depart Santragachi at 4.05 p.m on Oct 27.
