Seven succumb to sunstroke in State

Seven persons, including six from Srikakulam district and one from Vizianagaram district, died on Thursday due to sunstroke. In Srikakulam district, three daily wage labourers – Misala Narayanamma (75) of Buditi Kancharam village and Pydi Varahalamma (63) of Kintali village under Ponduru mandal and Venkata Rao of Mandasa mandal died of sunstroke. Three others -- V. Appana (58) from Lavetipalem village, Basava Seethamma (62) from Paparaopeta village and Pydi Pydamma (65) from Pydipeta village under Ranasthalam mandal are reported to have succumbed to the heat wave.
