Seminar on ‘cyber laws’ at Siddhartha College

The Parvathaneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts and Science will organise a two-day seminar on ‘cyber security, cyber crimes and laws’, at the college on November 15 and 16.

The national-level seminar is organised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the department of Computer Science, Siddharatha College, said principal M.V.N. Padma Rao. City Police Commissioner A.B. Venkateswara Rao will be the chief guest at the programme. Society for Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS) registrar S. Thiagarajan, Cyber Society of India president Venkatraman Rajendran, vice-president V. Kapaleeswaran and secretary Ramesh Bhasyam will speak, said college director Vemuri Baburao. Research scholars, faculty members and students will attend.
