SCR official dies of heart attack at Gollapudi Ghat

A senior section officer in South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada, Kameshwar Rao (50), died of cardiac arrest while he was offering ‘pinda pradanam’ to his ancestors during the Krishna Pushkarams.

Mr. Rao suffered severe heart attack and collapsed while he was conducting the ritual at Gollapudi Ghat on Sunday.

He died while being shifted to the hospital.
