Samalochana contest in empirical writing

Samalochana, National Forum of Thinkers, is organising a theme-based Referential and Empirical Writing Contest to inculcate the right kind of Outcomes Based Education with research orientation and anti-plagiaristic spirit among students and teachers.

Samalochana president K. Rama Chandra on Wednesday said the participants can choose either ‘Science in Indian Tradition - a pragmatic approach’ or ‘Quantitative Easing as a Monetary Policy - Retrospect and Prospect’ to take part in the contest.

There is no entry fee.

Both under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) students of all academic streams are eligible to participate.

Those teaching at any level — from KG to PG — are allowed except those holding Ph.D. and/or holding the designation of ‘Professor’. Assistant Professors/ Associate Professors without Ph.D. are eligible.

There would be separate domains for teachers and students: two sub categories for UG and PG in student domain, and two sub-categories in the domain for school and college/ University teachers.
