An RTC driver died of heart attack while at the wheel on Thursday, but before that he steered the bus to safety saving the lives of passengers. The incident took place at Reddygudem village in Rajupalem mandal. RTC Regional Manager, Guntur, P.V. Rama Rao said the bus driver, Sk. Dastagiri, felt severe pain in the chest and later collapsed in the driving seat. Efforts to resuscitate him did not yield any result.
