An awareness campaign on road safety and traffic rules by The Hindu will be organised at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Kanuru, on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Officials of the police and transport departments will address the young generation on the need for following road safety in the interests of one and all.
There will be an interaction between the officials and the students on various aspects of traffic rules and the scope for cooperation in improving road safety.
A similar awareness campaign will also be held for the students of Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Similar programmes will be held at PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Andhra Loyola College on Tuesday.
