District Collector Buddha Prakash M.Jyothi has urged officials of the Rural Water Supply, electricity, Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Raj departments to respond immediately to complaints on water shortage.
Addressing the district heads of these departments he asked them to make the lower-rung officials of their respective departments sensitive to the various problems faced by the people in the villages.
Alternate arrangements should be made in if the regular sources dry up and steps should be taken to ensure that there was no interruption of power supply.
