With the speculations rife that the capital of Andhra Pradesh would come up between Vijayawada and Guntur, there has been a surge in the real estate dealings. This has also fuelled the demand for the agents who can identify suitable lands for prospective buyers, including the NRIs.
“Buyers are eyeing on the properties in Gannavaram, Nuzvid, Agiripalli and other areas in Guntur district. Yet, they are watching their steps before closing the deals owing to the prevailing uncertainty over the location of the capital city, apart from laying emphasis on undisputed land titles,” says Kalapala Sesh Kumar, State secretary of the Chamber of Real Estates Welfare Association.
To cash in on the situation, an exclusive property search engine-- www.plotnflat.in-- was pre-launched here on Sunday. The web portal will carry details of available lands, plots and flats in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, with a special focus on the clients belonging to the middle and low income groups, said V. Pavan Kumar, one of the organisers of the search engine.
Further, the search engine gives details pertaining to property titles, market trends, price fluctuations and etc. A team of experienced lawyers, architects, surveyors, web designers and others handle the operations of the website, he explains.
In an effort to cater to the needs of the NRI clients, the organisers are also planning to launch a round-the-clock call centre to disseminate information.
“For real estate firms, we will transform the traditional marketing into corporate style and help them clinch the deals. For end users, the service will be free, while firms will pay us based on the clicks and deals closed,” said G. Hari Kumar, an advocate by profession and one of the organisers.
