D. Ravi Teja (23), a MBA student who died under mysterious circumstances at Punadipadu in Krishna district on April 19, 2013, apparently suffered only an internal haemorrhage (bleeding in head) and no other injuries were found on the body, according to the post-mortem report which is, however, yet to be made public, and which could not point to the real cause of death.
The youth, who suffered head injury on April 19, battled for life for five days in a hospital here and died on April 24. The girl, who accompanied him, however, changed her statement and complained that some unidentified persons teased her and in the scuffle that followed they had killed Ravi Teja. “As Ravi Teja suffered haemorrhage in skull and went into a coma soon after the incident, police could not record dying declaration”, said DCP M. Ravi Prakash.
