Emulate Thomas Alva Edison, students told

A good and positive attitude towards life will go a long way in ensuring bright careers for students to excel and progress, Malineni Narayana Prasad, managing director of Prasad Power Systems and former secretary of the Krishna Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition Society, has said. Addressing as chief guest the inaugural of “Transform-2K11” organised by the department of electrical and electronics of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Narayana Prasad said that only through a positive approach and hard work that one could achieve the set goals in life and profession. The young generation should cultivate the positive traits of personality and discipline to reach greater heights in their future endeavours.

Mr. Narayana Prasad drew the attention of the students to the life and work of Thomas Alva Edison, who could drive away darkness by showing light to the world despite having failed countless times in his efforts. Loyola College Rector A. Stanley asserted that only with perspiration and dedication that a student would be able to reap good results . ALIET director Thainese said there was a greater need to acquire strong analytical skills .

ALIET Principal Durga Prasad Ojha said that the students should understand the importance of not gaining knowledge for the sake of just knowing but they should be able to find out how this could be used for improving systems and organisations.
