Poll percentage drops in Krishna from 2009

With more figures still to come in, the percentage of polling recorded in Krishna district at 6 p.m. was calculated at 78.34 per cent, nearly three per cent less than the percentage of polling recorded in 2009.

While the percentage of the three Assembly segments in Vijayawada city was low at – Vijayawada West (67), Central (65.33) and East (65.40) – the polling percentage of Nuzvid segment was highest at 87, followed by Gannavaram art 86.50 and Tiruvuru 85.

The percentages of polling in the other Assembly segments in the district are Nandigama (85), Pedana (83), Machilipatnam (82), Mylavaram and Avanigadda (80 each), Gudivada and Kaikaluru (78 each) and Pammaru and Penamaluru (75 each).
