Common man will be hit hard, says ACCI president
The Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on behalf of Builders Association, wrote a letter to the District Collector SAM Rizvi to take necessary steps to rollback the hike in building licence fee to construct buildings and houses in the city. ACCI president M. Muralikrishna said that the burden of hike was Rs. 6 crore in the city.
The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation hiked fee for various permissions by 100 to 150 per cent.
The housing industry would be seriously affected by the hike by the municipal corporation , it opined.
The housing would not be in reach of common and middle class people as the construction cost would increase phenomenally, he said.
