Orientation programme for micro-planning teams

An orientation programme was conducted here on Saturday for the team members, who will be involved in preparing micro-plans for the development of 264 villages in Vijayawada Parliamentary constituency.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas, Krishna Collector Babu A., Tata Trusts representatives and Centre for People’s Forestry representatives interacted with the villagers and team leaders who took part in the orientation programme. The MP explained about the micro-planning and how it was necessary to change the face of rural areas in the district. Mr. Babu said that the teams would work in coordination with the officials.
