While three candidates filed nominations for Vijayawada and Machilipatnam Lok Sabha (LS) constituencies on Saturday, seven filed papers for six Assembly constituencies.
Those who filed papers for the Vijayawada LS seat are Gundapaneni Rajakumari of the Pyramid Party of India (PPI) and an Independent, Kongara Sai. Vadapalli Raghunath of the PPI filed nomination for the Machilipatnam LS seat.
Two candidates filed nominations for the Tiruvuru (SC) Assembly Constituency. They are Kunche Venkata Ramana of the Jai Samaikyandhra Party and Dubbaka Naga Mohan (Independent).
Gudivada Nagaraju, Vaddi Vijayasaradhi, Somisetti Venkata Ratthaiah and Balina Venkata Ramana, all PPI candidates, have filed nominations for Nuzvid, Machilipatnam, Avanigadda and Mylavaram respectively.
