S. Durga Srinivasa Rao was elected president. D.V. Prasad was chosen the vice-president, V.V. Ravi Kumar general secretary, D. Venkata Reddy treasurer, M. Srinivasa Rao library secretary and Hepsiba Madhubala lady secretary of the Bezawada Bar Association.
Nearly 75 per cent of the lawyers cast their votes in the elections held on Wednesday. Out of 1,874 lawyers, 1,389 voted to elect president, vice-president, general secretary, treasurer and library secretary of the historic association which was established 108 years ago.
