Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy has termed the proposed JAC or fact-finding committee by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan a combination of those who have lost elections and who have not contested the elections. He has said the TDP need not respond to the demand or the appeal of JAC to show the expenditure or allocation to the State by the Central government.
Addressing the media after conducting a review of the Rajamahendravaram parliamentary constituency development along with MP M. Murali Mohan and other MLAs here on Monday, he reacted to a question from the media on Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s proposed JAC and his intervention. Mr. Krishnamurthy said that the TDP would wait till March 5 for response from the Centre on the promises it made to the State. He said the TDP gained a lot of support from other parties in and out of Parliament for its fight for justice. He recalled that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has a record of having capacity to solve the problems of other States, but this time he himself was facing critical situation.
MP’s advice
Mr. Murali Mohan said either BJP or TDP should not think on party lines in solving the present deadlock and should only keep the interests of the people of the State. He suggested that it was better to deliberate across the table and find a solution. A. Satyanarayana, BJP MLA, who was present, rebutted the criticism of Mr. Krishnamurthy as well as the MP.
