Nitin inaugurates designer wear expo

A lot of changes occur in the fashion industry and such exhibitions help city people update themselves on the latest trends, said Nithin

Vibrant colours greeted the customers at the designer wear exhibition of Mandir designer sarees and Daffodils on Sunday.

Inaugurated by actor Nitin, the two-day exhibition has creations from both amateur and renowned designers from across the country.

A lot of changes occur in the fashion industry and such exhibitions help city people update themselves on the latest trends, said Nithin.

He complimented the organisers for their initiative to make people more fashionable.

“We always try to give our customers the latest designs, party-wear, fancy, embroidery, block print, threadware, Venkatagiri pure chanderi, batik print, stonework, pattu sarees etc. from our in-house weavers,” said Mandir CEO Chalavadi Jhansi.

“We also have ghaghras, cotton, and Banaras silk party wear, fancy dress materials, casual wear, tunics, kids wear etc on display at our exhibition,” said organiser Nikhitha Reddy.

Apart from apparels, one gram jewellery were also on display, she added.

Some of the creations at this exhibition are by designers Shyam for children-wear, Vima Dileep from Bangalore, Anshu Agarwal, Patni Jeweleers, Roma creations, Kubu Diamond jewellery, Sharyar for Uppad collections, Mehak Designer Studios etc.

The exhibition will be open till Monday evening.
