NH at Durga temple to be closed for 30 days

Police say NHAI will carry out works on the stretch

The stretch of the National Highway between the Kankadurga Temple toll gate and the Kummaripalem Centre will be closed for 30 days starting Thursday.

In a press release, the city police informed that the National Highway Authority of India would carry out work on the stretch where the flyover was being constructed.

Traffic diversions

In view of the road closure, traffic diversions have been imposed. All the vehicles going out of the city towards Vidyadharapuram and Ibrahimpatnam can take any of the three routes via the BRP Road and Tunnel Road, Errakatta and Tunnel Road and the CVR flyover and Sitara Junction. The same routes can be used by motorcyclists who come into city from Ibrahimpatnam. Cars and auto-rickshaws heading to the city from Ibrahimpatnam can use two routes touching the Gollapudi centre, CVR flyover, Panja centre and low bridge or Gollapudi centre, CVR flyover, Ajith Singh Nagar and the BRTS road.
