New courses introduced in Vignan University

Vignan's Lara Institute of Technology and Science will introduce a new course in M. Tech (embedded systems) in the academic year (2012-2013), following the approval of All India Council for Technical Education. The intake for the course is 18 seats. In addition to the new course, the college has got sanction for doubling the intake for the mechanical engineering course from its existing strength of 60.

In Vignan's Nirula Institute of Technology and Science for Women, the intake in the CSE course has been increased from 120 seats to 180 seats, IT from 90 seats to 120 seats, M. Pharmacy (pharmaceutics) (from 18 seats to 24 seats) and M. Pharmacy (pharmaceutical analysis and quality assurance) from 18 seats to 24 seats. Chairman of Vignan Educational Institutions Lavu Rathaiah spoke.
