Nani’s poser to Balayya

December 05, 2012 01:35 pm | Updated 01:35 pm IST - GUDIVADA

Gudivada MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) in an angry reply to cine actor Nandamuri Balakrisha’s comments against him said that kin of Telugu Desam Party founder N.T. Rama Rao trusted the proverbial wolf in sheep’s attire.

He (Raavi Venkateswara Rao) will backstab the cine actor as they did with NTR, he said here on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Nani, who switched loyalties to YSR Congress, said it was indeed disheartening that Mr. Balakrishna was supporting Raavi family who allegedly threw chappals on NTR at Viceroy Hotel in Hyderabad at the behest of N. Chadrababu Naidu.

The cine actor should understand their ploy, he opined. “Mr. Balakrishna stated that I am making insignificant comments against Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. In fact, same views were expressed by NTR. Does he mean to say that NTR made worthless comments?” he asked.

On Mr. Balakrishna’s assertion that Gudivada was not property of anyone, the MLA said: “Certainly, people will decide who and which party should be elected. It will be third time in a row in the coming elections. I will leave Gudivada and the State if I fail to win the seat here.”

Stating that he would not be cowed down by the false propaganda of the TDP leaders to tarnish his image, the MLA suggested the TDP leaders to stop their cheap tactics.
