First Standard students of Nalanda Vidya Niketan – P. Pavithra, N. Venkat Rushasree, Venkatasai Jaydheer, Ch. Amrit Krishna, Ch. Harinaga Manikantha, B. Manikantha Reddy, Abhinand, S. Hanish Kumar, S. Mahija, and Ch. Mukund bagged first ranks by securing cent per cent marks in the Star Kid GK Olympiad 2011.
Five others of the same class secured 90 out of 100 marks.
Similarly, T. Abhishekh of fourth standard bagged first prize in the district-level while K. Bharti, G. Chanakya and Lakshmi Abhigna of third class secured 6, 15 and 20 ranks at the State-level in the second-level State-level Science Talent Search Exam.
A Siri of fourth class got 13 rank while D. Kirthi of fifth class secured 24 place in the State-level competition.
