September 22, 2014 10:45 pm | Updated 10:45 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be moving from the Lake View guest house to the ‘L’ block in Secretariat by Vijaya Dasami.

The renovation work going on for the last two months in the eight floor of ‘L’ block is in its final stages. The entire ‘L’ block building is being given a facelift and the entrance is being spruced with false ceiling. Work on the separate entrance and exclusive lift for the use of the Chief Minister is also nearing completion. The path to the block is being beautified with a fresh patch of road.

Roads and Buildings Department officials said the Chief Minister’s peshi and his office, Cabinet meeting hall, video conference room and other paraphernalia in the block would be completed by month-end should Mr. Naidu choose to operate from the Secretariat from Dasara.
