Missing boy restored to parents

The Government Railway Police (GRP) united a missing boy, Badal (2) with his parents in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

The boy is a native of Davagaon village, Ganjam district of Odisha.

GRP constable A. Veera Swamy noticed Badal weeping on platform no.1 in the railway station at around 10 a.m.

He brought the boy to police station and reported the matter to station house officer P.V. Maruthi Rao and GRP DSP D.N. Mahesh.

The police made public announcement and enquired about the boy's parents. After two hours the boy's parents, Behra and Prathima came to the police station and took the boy. The parents thanked the police for uniting their child with them.
