Dr. T.R.University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor T.Raviraja inaugurated Medicon-2014, a two-day conference of medicos from all over the country, at Pinnamaneni-Siddartha Medical College at Chinautapalli near here on Friday.
Addressing students the Vice-Chancellor said that medical research was the corner stone of human development.
Siddhartha Academy president N.Venkateswarlu presided over the programme. He urged students to practise medicine ethically. Medical College Director General C.Nageswara Rao said all medical research should be for the benefit of mankind.
College principal P.S.N Murthy, medical superintendent N.V.Krishna Rao, founder of INFORMER Manu Matthew, Medicon Organising Secretary K.S.R.Bhargava spoke.
