Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Dean Gerry Abenilla said that medical education in Philippines is economical when compared to other countries.
“The duration of our MBBS course is five-and-a-half years and the fee is $ 24,000 . And for BDS and a degree in veterinary it works out to be $ 12,000 ,” said he.
Head Foreign Students Affairs Atty Maria. C. said that university is located in San Carlos city and is tied up with Jose R Reyes Hospital. “Apart from providing all facilities, we all also impart training for USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) to those students to intend to practice or take up further studies in the USA and MCI screening test coaching to those who intend to practice in India,” she said.
