MBBS second counselling from Aug. 23 to 27

The Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences will conduct the second counselling for filling of vacant MBBS and BDS seats under different categories in Medical Colleges affiliated to it from August 23 to 27.

Registrar T. Venugopala Rao in a press release here on Thursday said that counselling for special category candidates would be held on August 23 from 9 a.m. onwards. The counselling for all candidates (OC, BCA, BCB, BCC, BCD, BCE, SC and ST categories) will be conducted as per their ranks from 9 a.m. on August 24. Counselling will be held at four different venues where the first counselling was held. Counselling will be held for candidates with ranks between 1 and 2,000 on the first day. Similarly, counselling will held for candidates with ranks between 2,001 and 4,500 on second day, ranks between 4,501 and 10,000 on third day. From Sunday afternoon counselling would be held only for BC, SC candidates of AU and SVU with ranks between 10,001 and 15,000. Counselling will be held for the remaining ranks on Monday, the press release said.

Dr. Venugopal told The Hindu that a clear picture of the number of vacant seats in the different categories would become clear by August 21 as “not joining” letters were still being received by the university.
