A 43-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his wife and paramour at Gauntlapalem, near Kothapatnam, in Prakasam district in the wee hours of Saturday.
Ongole II Town CI V.Suryanarayana said that after a wordy duel, the man, B.Govindu, was alleged clubbed to death by his wife and her paramour.
The 35-year-old woman, a tailor, had a strained relationship with her husband, a construction worker, for some months, the CI said.
''We have taken into custody the man's wife and are on the lookout for her paramour'', the CI added.
