Library walk to be held on April 10

The Centenary Celebrations Committee, Andhra Pradesh Library Association is organising ‘Centenary walk for libraries’ on April 10.

The walk will be flagged off by A.P. Granthalaya Parishad Chairman Turlapati Kutumba Rao at 8 a.m. from Rama Mohan Rao Library to Sarvottama Bhavan.

National conference

This apart, the committee is also conducting a national conference on Role of Library Associations in promoting information literacy in the knowledge society.

Special function

There will be a special function at Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ganguru, where, U. Kalyanam, who was secretary to Mahatma Gandhi, will be the chief guest.
