September 28, 2010 07:47 pm | Updated 07:47 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Lagadapati Rajagopal, MP, is going to launch yet another ‘padayatra' in the city, the third after being elected to the Lok Sabha first time in 2004. He told a press conference at Andhra Ratna Bhavan on Monday that the padyatra, to be called ‘Bapuji Sadbhavana Yatra', would be launched on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It would continue for nearly one and a half month until November 14, the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru.

The first padayatra he took out after being elected in 2004, called the ‘Bapuji Samadarshani Yatra', was a great success. The MP took out a second padayatra in 2007 for nearly 80 days in which an attempt was made to redress the grievances of the people in the entire constituency.
