Krishna, WG Collectors asked to furnish info on Kolleru

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas has said that instructions have been issued to the Collectors of Krishna and West Godavari districts to furnish information containing survey numbers and names and other details of the beneficiaries for giving back the lands situated between contours 3 and 5 of Kolleru Lake.

Addressing media persons in Delhi on Wednesday, after holding parleys on a wide range of issues concerning Andhra Pradesh, with Union Ministers M. Venkaiah Naidu, Ananth Kumar and Prakash Javadekar in the last couple of days, Mr. Srinivas said the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change sought information pertaining to giving back the lands situated at Kolleru and that the Andhra Pradesh government was seized of the matter.

Mr. Srinivas said the Union government expressed its willingness to sanction 200 ‘Jan Aushadhi’ outlets for A.P to make medicines available at affordable prices.

Discussions were held on the establishment of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in A.P and other important matters.
