Krishna Pushkaram website, app soon

The district administration will soon launch the official website of Krishna Pushkaram. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the website which will contain comprehensive information about the event (Ghats, rituals etc.), public transportation and other facilities.

It will also launch a mobile phone application (app) for the convenience of pilgrims.

Officials are making arrangements for ‘Pushkar Nagars’ at 20 places across the city and some more in the rural areas to enable the pilgrims celebrate the festival in a grand manner.

Besides, steps have been taken for receiving the pilgrims at four satellite railway stations --Rayanapadu, Krishna Canal, Gunadala and Madhuranagar in addition to the Vijayawada station. The APSRTC is also making arrangements for 12 satellite bus stations.
