‘Knowledge of marketing strategies is essential'

Management students should have a thorough knowledge of various marketing strategies, said G.N.Brahmanand, Acharya Nagarjuna University College retired vice-principal. Delivering a talk on “How to succeed in this competitive world?” to MBA students of the Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College here on Tuesday he said a thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and grip over marketing were essential for success in the industrial sector. The growth of privatisation had led to revolutionary changes in industrial and business sectors, he said.

He said the production of the company, prices fixed by rival firms, local government policies and even the weather patterns should be taken into consideration.
