KCR not interested inTelangana state: TDP

The Telugu Desam Party leaders on Monday said KCR family did not want formation of a separate Telangana state.

Addressing a press conference here, Mylavaram MLA and TDP district president Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said the speeches of TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao and other leaders at Sakalajanula Bheri gave an impression that KCR family clandestinely opposes the Telangana state for their vested interests.

The Telangana people were worried how the agitation could be taken to a logical conclusion under the leadership of a such a person, he alleged, adding, “the Telangana people felt ashamed of his remarks and unparliamentary language which he used at public meeting.”

KCR at the meeting called Seemandhra people as robbers. In fact, he and his family were robbers. It was TDP leaders who went to Maharashtra to save interests of Telangana. The Hyderabad was developed with sweat of people from all the three regions. “We are ready to sacrifice our lives for Samaikyanhdra agitation,” he added.

TDP Vijayawada (Central) incharge Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and others were present.
