‘Join hands to protect environment’

Environmentalist Paladuru Venkat Rao has appealed to students, youth, NGOs and employees to join hands to protect environment for a healthy life.

Delivering a lecture on ‘Green Mission - Gardening’, organised in connection with the first formation day of Friends On Same Wave Length (FOSWL) here on Sunday, Mr. Venkat Rao, who is also a former medical officer of the South Central Railway said trees were important for preventing sound and air pollution.

Every person should make it a habit to practise gardening which improves vegetation and gives good health.
