With the general elections fast approaching, candidates are leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the voters and being a TDP MP candidate, Galla Jayadev, son of former Minister Gaslla Aruna Kumari, is no exception to it.
The industrialist-turned-politician, who has just set his foot in his mother vocation, chose to start his day with morning walkers on Friday. Mr. Jayadev, in a white track suit and yellow T-shirt arrived at the NTR stadium at 6 a.m. He was seen introducing himself to the first time voters, men, women and children who were out to sweat it out on the ground. He also took brisk walk sessions with some people.
Poll gameThe TDP contestant was seen greeting doctors, sportsmen, businessmen, engineers, students and the retired personnel and appreciating the walkers for their stride to keep them in good health. He then walked into the basket ball court and interacted with the players and the children who were skating. Mr. Jayadev did take part in the game for a few minutes and spent some time with students.
Then Mr. Jayadev landed at the a roadside tea stall. Sipping tea with people, he appealed the latter to vote for the Telugu Desam Party for good governance. When a few walkers questioning whether he would stay with them after the election, Mr. Jayadev took no time to promise to settle in Guntur city and serve the people, irrespective of the outcome in the coming polls. He also met people at saloons, hotels and shops and urged them to vote for TDP in the coming elections.
