Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya has accused YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of resorting to politics of vengeance against her family, and questioned whether the voters in every constituency where the YSRCP lost are to be considered “sold out.”

She stated in a press release that Mr. Reddy was making a mockery of the people’s mandate. Instead of correcting his wrongdoings, Mr. Reddy embarked on a padayatra, she said.

Mr. Akhila Priya asserted that it was due to their confidence in the commitment of Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s family to development and welfare that people voted for them.

Ms. Priya said the YSRCP president was in frustration due to his party’s defeat in Nandyal and Kakinada, and said the people of Nandyal would not forgive him for his intemperate comments against them.
